I started working in Real Estate when I was 18. In 2014 I was selected as the Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® "REALTOR® of The Year". I have worked as an agent and in a mortgage broker's office. I have owned and sold my own homes so I have that personal experience to relate to my clients. I assist Home Sellers with marketing and transferring their property using our MLS, Social Media, and E-marketing. I like assisting Home Buyers with their search for property and the acquisition process. I have experience with urban and rural residential properties, land, commercial, and Government-owned properties.

My background outside of Real Estate includes studying Mechanical Engineering and working as an IT Consultant and IT manager. I currently sit as Chair of the Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® Technical committee where I help educate other REALTORS® on technical matters that affect our business and advise the Association on technology issues. I have also been on the Regional MLS Technical committee and sat on several of the California Association of REALTORS® technical committees.

I was raised in southern California and joined the military after high school where I spent time in the western Pacific during the Vietnam war after which I received an Honorable Discharge,

After my service, I was employed in the home building/sales industry and became a General Superintendent and Project Manager for several local construction companies during which time I was responsible for the construction of thousands of homes throughout Southern California.

Having spent over 30 years in real estate development, I am able to understand your questions and provide you with answers to help you with your real estate choices and decisions. I am knowledgeable in all aspects from foundation to roof and have a passion for the American dream of homeownership.

I am now a REALTOR® with San Diego Estates and will continue with my passion to fulfill the dream of homeownership for all my clients, associates, and friends.

I have had the pleasure of raising my wonderful children here in San Diego County. One of my daughters works with a local plumbing company, another is VP of a title and escrow company, my son is a local Firefighter, as is my nephew, and my brother is a retired Fire Chief. We are a very close and loving family.

I have enjoyed the vast opportunities that this wonderful climate provides. Everything from boating, water skiing, snow skiing, hiking, camping, family outings and more.

I Have been A Realtor for the past 30+ years, Working the San Diego County and dipping into Imperial Valley and Riverside County occasionally.

My family moved from El Centro in 1992. We bought a home in Del Cerro and lived there for 22 years.
I moved to Alpine in 2019 and took some time off. I am now back to work and looking forward to meeting new clients and helping with their Real Estate needs.

Before I entered the Real Estate arena, I was manager of Mutual of Omaha in Idaho for several years. When I moved back to San Diego, I decided to change my direction and got my Real Estate license where I spent over 40 years helping others with their real estate needs.

I began my Real Estate career as a Sales Manager/Director for a couple of years for a large residential builder in San Diego. From there I decided to go into sales and sold 8 new housing projects. After a few years of selling new homes, I moved onto the resale market.

Along the way, I decided I would like to “give back” and became active in the local Board of Realtors. Over the years, I served as President, Vice President, and Director as well as member and chair for several of the committees. For many years I was a member of the Forms Committee at the California Association of Realtors meetings. In 1994 I was honored by my peers by receiving Realtor of the Year. This is awarded for outstanding service and contribution to the Real Estate profession.

I was also tapped a few times to assist in legal proceedings as an Expert Witness.

During my career, I was able to assist other Realtors as Trainer and Mentor. Being able to share some of my knowledge with those who needed an experienced Realtor to answer their questions and help them to make informed decisions was a joy to me and I hope helpful to them.

One of the blessings I hold dear from my years in Real Estate is that I have had the opportunity of working with clients who have become friends, and some are now like family to me. It has always been an honor to help families through the purchase or sale of their real estate needs. At this point in my career, many of my transactions are from previous clients or referrals.

My first priority as a Realtor is to earn my clients' trust and offer them the best possible experience, whether they are buying, selling, investing or transforming a house into their dream home. I started my real estate career in 1986 and also at the time purchasing real estate for myself. I have managed my own real estate investments. I believe real estate is a good strategy to creating wealth.
I also have owned and operated my own successful travel agency since 1989. I think that helping people with their travel plans and helping people with real estate are very similar.
